Summary
CVE-2024-45073 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.5 and 9.0. This issue permits a privileged user to execute stored cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. By embedding arbitrary JavaScript code in the WebUI, an attacker can manipulate the application's intended functionality and potentially gain access to sensitive information, such as credentials, within a trusted session.
