Summary
CVE-2024-43540 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting Windows Mobile Broadband Drivers. This issue permits an attacker to execute a Denial of Service (DoS) attack through specially crafted packets. The vulnerability exists due to insufficient input validation in the driver, resulting in a memory exhaustion condition. Successful exploitation of this weakness may cause the driver to crash, leading to a loss of network connectivity for the affected device.
