Summary
CVE-2024-43499 is a newly disclosed Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability affecting both .NET and Visual Studio applications. Malicious actors can exploit this issue by sending specifically crafted requests to vulnerable systems, leading to a resource exhaustion condition. Consequently, the targeted applications may become unresponsive or even crash, rendering them inaccessible to legitimate users. Microsoft is currently working on a patch to address this vulnerability, and users are strongly urged to apply it as soon as it becomes available to mitigate potential risks.
