Summary

CVE-2024-43358 is a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting ZoneMinder, an open-source CCTV software application. The flaw is located in the filter view of the software and can be exploited to inject malicious scripts into a user's browser. Successful attacks could lead to information disclosure, session hijacking, or even complete system takeover. ZoneMinder users are advised to upgrade to version 1.36.34 or 1.37.61 to mitigate this issue.
