Summary
CVE-2024-43053 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting WLAN drivers. The issue lies in the way these drivers process IOCTL (Input/Output Control) calls originating from user space. Specifically, a memory corruption flaw can occur when reading WLAN target diagnostic information, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution or denial of service conditions.
