Summary

CVE-2024-42407 is a vulnerability affecting the Gallagher Command Centre Alarm Transmitter feature, where an authenticated Operator can insert sensitive information into log files (CWE-532). This issue grants unauthorized access to some security-sensitive data for Command Centre Server versions 9.10 prior to 9.10.2149 (MR4), 9.00 prior to 9.00.2374 (MR5), 8.90 prior to 8.90.2356 (MR6), and all versions of 8.80 and older. The vulnerability may lead to potential data exposure and privilege escalation. Operators should update their Command Centre Server software to mitigate this risk.
