Summary

CVE-2024-41943 is a vulnerability affecting I, Librarian, an open-source PDF managing Software-as-a-Service. The issue lies in the lack of validation or sanitation for PDF notes displayed on the Item Summary page. An attacker can exploit this flaw by inserting malicious code or scripts in the PDF notes. Upon loading the page in the browser, the code will be executed, potentially leading to security compromises. The vulnerability has been remedied in version 5.11.1.
