CVE-2024-41825

Summary

CVE-2024-41825 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting JetBrains TeamCity before version 2024.07. This issue permits Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks on the Code Inspection tab, potentially allowing malicious actors to inject malicious scripts into unsuspecting users' browsers. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by crafting a specially crafted web page that, when visited, executes the malicious code in the user's browser. As a result, sensitive information could be stolen or users could be redirected to malicious websites. It is recommended that users upgrade to the latest version of TeamCity to mitigate this risk.
