Details
Summary
CVE-2024-41666 is a vulnerability affecting Argo CD, a popular GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes. In versions 2.6.0 and above, Argo CD's Web-based terminal feature allows users with specific permissions to keep a shell inside a running pod, even after those permissions have been revoked. This can result in the unauthorized access and potential leakage of sensitive information. The vulnerability persists as long as the user keeps the terminal view open, and tokens or user permissions cannot prevent it. Argo CD has released patches for this issue in versions 2.11.7, 2.10.16, and 2.9.21.
