Summary
CVE-2024-41650 is an Insecure Permissions vulnerability affecting Open Robotics Robotic Operating System 2 (ROS2) and specifically the navigation2 v.humble package. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by providing a carefully crafted script to the nav2_costmap_2d component, allowing them to execute arbitrary code and potentially gain unauthorized access or cause system damage.
