Summary
CVE-2024-38160 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting Windows Network Virtualization. This issue allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code on a targeted system by sending specially crafted packets to the Network Virtualization Generic Router Protocol (NVGRE) interface. Exploitation of this vulnerability could result in complete system compromise, allowing an attacker to install programs, view, change, or delete data, or create new accounts with full user rights.
