Summary
CVE-2024-38159 is a newly disclosed remote code execution vulnerability affecting Windows Network Virtualization. This issue allows an unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code on a vulnerable system by sending specially crafted packets to the Network Virtualization Service. Successful exploitation could lead to the compromise of the entire virtual network and the potential exfiltration of sensitive data. Microsoft recommends immediate patching to mitigate this risk.
