Summary
CVE-2024-37295 is a vulnerability affecting the Aimeos Open Source e-commerce framework, versions 2024.01.1 and prior to 2024.04.5. This issue allows users with administrative privileges to upload malicious files disguised as images. The uploaded files contain PHP code, which gets executed in the context of the web server upon being accessed. This vulnerability poses a serious security risk, potentially leading to unauthorized code execution and data breaches. The latest version, 2024.04.5, contains the necessary fixes to mitigate this issue.
