Summary
CVE-2024-35278 is a vulnerability affecting Fortinet FortiPortal versions 7.2.4 through 7.2.0 and 7.0.0 through 7.2.8. This issue involves an improper neutralization of special elements in SQL commands, also known as SQL injection. An authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by submitting malicious HTTP requests containing special elements, enabling them to view the SQL queries being run server-side. This exposure of sensitive SQL queries poses a significant risk to the confidentiality and integrity of data processed by the affected FortiPortal systems.
