Summary
CVE-2024-35276 is a critical buffer overflow vulnerability affecting various Fortinet products, including FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, and FortiManager Cloud. Versions 7.4.0 through 7.4.3, 7.2.0 through 7.2.5, 7.0.0 through 7.0.12, 6.4.0 through 6.4.14 are impacted. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted packets to induce a stack-based buffer overflow. Successful exploitation may allow the attacker to execute unauthorized code or commands. Organizations using impacted Fortinet versions are advised to apply the available patches as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
