Summary

CVE-2024-34136 is a NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability affecting Adobe Illustrator versions 28.5 and 27.9.4, and older releases. This issue poses a risk of an application denial-of-service (DoS) attack. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by crafting a malicious file, which, upon opening by a victim, can trigger a NULL pointer dereference, causing the application to crash. The result is a denial-of-service condition for the affected Illustrator instance.
