Summary
CVE-2024-33582 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting Lenovo Service Framework. This issue permits a local attacker to execute code with elevated privileges through a DLL hijack attack. The Lenovo Service Framework, a critical system component, fails to adequately verify DLLs, enabling an adversary to replace a legitimate DLL with one of their own, leading to potential code injection and privilege escalation.
