Summary

CVE-2024-3272 is a very critical vulnerability affecting the HTTP GET Request Handler component of D-Link DNS-320L, DNS-325, DNS-327L, and DNS-340L devices up to version 20240403. The issue arises from the processing of the /cgi-bin/nas_sharing.cgi file, where manipulation of the argument "user" with the input "messagebus" can lead to the disclosure of hard-coded credentials. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely, and the associated identifier is VDB-259283. However, it is important to note that this vulnerability only affects unsupported products, as the vendor has confirmed that they are end-of-life and should be retired and replaced.
