Summary

CVE-2024-31998 refers to a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Comodo iTop IT Service Management tool. This issue allows an attacker to perform malicious actions on the affected system by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted link during a CSV import simulation. This vulnerability has been resolved in iTop versions 3.1.2 and 3.2.0. It is highly recommended that all users upgrade to these secure versions, as no known workarounds are available to mitigate this threat.
