Summary
CVE-2024-29671 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the NEXTU FLATA AX1500 Router with version 1.0.2. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending a specially crafted POST request, resulting in excess data being written to a buffer. This vulnerability allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code remotely. Successful exploitation could lead to unauthorized access, data theft, or system compromise. Users are advised to update their router software to the latest version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
