CVE-2024-2878 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting multiple versions of GitLab CE and EE. Versions starting from 15.7 to 16.9.7, 16.10 to 16.10.5, and 16.11 to 16.11.2 are impacted. An attacker could exploit this issue by crafting abnormal search terms for branch names, leading to a service disruption.
