CVE-2024-26202

Summary

CVE-2024-26202 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) Server Services. Hackers can exploit this Remote Code Execution (RCE) weakness to gain unauthorized access to affected systems. An attacker sends maliciously crafted DHCP option packets to the target network, which, when processed by the vulnerable DHCP server, results in the execution of arbitrary code on the server.
