CVE-2024-25697 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Portal for ArcGIS versions below 11.1. A remote, authenticated attacker can exploit this issue by creating a malicious link. When an authenticated user opens their bio page using this link, an image will be rendered in their browser, potentially executing malicious scripts. The attacker requires low privileges to carry out this vulnerability.
