Summary
CVE-2024-23957 is a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the Autel MaxiCharger AC Elite Business C50 charging stations. This issue, identified as ZDI-CAN-23241, resides in the DLB_HostHeartBeat handler of the DLB protocol implementation. When processing an AES key, the software fails to validate the length of user-supplied data, allowing network-adjacent attackers to exploit this flaw and execute arbitrary code on the device without requiring authentication.
