Summary
CVE-2024-23930 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting Pioneer DMH-WT7600NEX devices. This issue enables network-adjacent attackers to create a denial-of-service (DoS) condition without requiring authentication. The Media service, which listens on the default TCP port 42000, is the root cause of the vulnerability. Attackers can exploit this flaw by improperly handling error conditions, leading to a DoS condition on the affected system.
