Summary
CVE-2024-23366 is a newly disclosed vulnerability that allows for information disclosure. This issue occurs when the mailbox write API is invoked with a message larger than the mailbox size. The API, in an attempt to process the large message, discloses information unintended for exposure, potentially leading to security risks for affected systems. This vulnerability could be exploited by sending oversized messages to targeted mailboxes, resulting in the unintentional release of sensitive information.
