CVE-2024-20528

Summary

CVE-2024-20528 is a vulnerability affecting the API of Cisco ISE. An authenticated, remote attacker with valid Super Admin credentials can exploit this issue by sending a maliciously crafted API request. The vulnerability stems from insufficient validation of user-supplied parameters. If successful, the attacker could upload custom files to arbitrary locations on the underlying operating system, potentially executing arbitrary code and gaining root privileges.
