Summary
CVE-2024-20348 is a new vulnerability disclosed in the Out-of-Band (OOB) Plug and Play (PnP) feature of Cisco Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller (NDFC). This issue arises due to an unauthenticated provisioning web server, allowing an unauthenticated, remote attacker to read arbitrary files. The attacker can exploit this vulnerability through direct web requests to the provisioning server, potentially gaining access to sensitive files in the PnP container. Successful exploitation could facilitate further attacks on the PnP infrastructure.
