Summary
CVE-2024-20281 is a vulnerability affecting the web-based management interface of Cisco Nexus Dashboard and Cisco Nexus Dashboard hosted services. This issue permits an unauthenticated, remote attacker to execute a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attack, exploiting insufficient CSRF protections. A successful attack could allow the attacker to perform arbitrary actions on the affected system, potentially including system configuration modifications and the creation of new privileged accounts. The Security Impact Rating is reduced due to internal security mechanisms limiting the scope of this exploit.
