CVE-2024-13848

Summary

CVE-2024-13848 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Reaction Buttons plugin for WordPress. This issue occurs due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the admin settings of the plugin. Authenticated attackers with administrator-level permissions or above can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Notably, this vulnerability only impacts multi-site installations and installations where unfiltered_html has been disabled.
