Summary
CVE-2024-13814: The Global Gallery plugin for WordPress, used by an estimated 30,000 websites, has a vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access or higher to execute arbitrary shortcodes. This arises due to the plugin's failure to validate values before running do_shortcode, potentially leading to unintended code execution. This issue can result in security breaches, data theft, or website defacement. Users of affected versions (up to and including 9.1.5) are advised to update as soon as possible.
