Summary

CVE-2024-13801 is a vulnerability affecting the BWL Advanced FAQ Manager plugin for WordPress. This issue allows authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access or higher, to modify data without proper checks on the 'baf_set_notice_status' AJAX action. This vulnerability can lead to a denial of service by updating options to cause errors or setting certain values to true, such as enabling registration. All versions up to and including 2.1.4 are impacted.
