Summary

CVE-2024-13736 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Pure Chat – Live Chat & More! plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 2.31 are impacted by this issue due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by injecting arbitrary web scripts into the ‘purechatWidgetName’ parameter.
