Summary

CVE-2024-13731 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Alert Box Block plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to and including 1.1.2, stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the Alert Box block. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can exploit this flaw to inject malicious web scripts into pages. Upon accessing an injected page, these scripts will execute, posing a significant security threat.
