Summary

CVE-2024-13712 is a vulnerability affecting the Pollin plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to 1.01.1, allows unauthenticated attackers to execute SQL Injection attacks. The 'question' parameter is the source of the vulnerability, which stems from insufficient escaping on user-supplied data and the lack of proper preparation of SQL queries. As a result, attackers can append malicious SQL queries to existing ones, potentially leading to the extraction of sensitive information from the database.
