CVE-2024-13674 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Cosmic Blocks (40+) Content Editor Blocks Collection plugin for WordPress. This issue, impacting versions up to and including 1.3.0, stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the 'cwp_social_share' shortcode. Consequently, authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can inject malicious web scripts. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, potentially leading to unintended actions or data exfiltration.
