Summary
CVE-2024-13664 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the WP Post List Table plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to and including 1.0.3, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject malicious scripts. The vulnerability is due to the plugin's lack of adequate input sanitization and output escaping for user-supplied attributes within the 'wpb_post_list_table' shortcode. Consequently, any page that includes this shortcode becomes a potential threat, executing the attacker's injected scripts whenever a user accesses the infected page.
