Summary

CVE-2024-13648 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Maps for WP plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 1.2.4, enables authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts. The vulnerability arises due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the plugin's 'MapOnePoint' shortcode. Consequently, injected pages will execute these scripts whenever users access them.
