Summary

CVE-2024-13595 is a vulnerability affecting the Simple Signup Form plugin for WordPress. This issue allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject SQL queries into the plugin through the 'id' attribute of the 'ssf' shortcode. The vulnerability stems from insufficient escaping of user-supplied data and the lack of preparation of existing SQL queries. As a result, attackers can extract sensitive information from the database, posing a significant security risk to WordPress websites using the affected plugin version 1.6.5 and below.
