Summary

CVE-2024-13594 is a vulnerability affecting the Simple Downloads List plugin for WordPress. This issue allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to execute SQL Injections through the 'category' attribute of the 'neofix_sdl' shortcode. Due to insufficient escaping on user-supplied data and a lack of preparation of existing SQL queries, an attacker can append extra SQL queries to already existing ones. This vulnerability can be exploited to extract sensitive information from the WordPress database. All versions up to and including 1.4.2 are impacted.
