Summary

CVE-2024-13589 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the YouTube Playlists with Schema plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 2.6.1, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject malicious scripts. The vulnerability is caused by insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the 'yt_grid' shortcode. As a result, any page containing an injected script will execute the malicious code whenever a user accesses it.
