Summary
CVE-2024-13586 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Masy Gallery plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 1.7, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts. The vulnerability arises due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the plugin's 'justified-gallery' shortcode. Upon exploitation, these scripts execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
