Summary

CVE-2024-13584 is a stored XSS vulnerability affecting the Picture Gallery – Frontend Image Uploads plugin for WordPress in versions up to 1.5.19. This issue stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the 'videowhisper_pictures' shortcode. Consequently, authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can inject arbitrary web scripts, which will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
