Summary

CVE-2024-13577 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the CATS Job Listings plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 2.0.9, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the plugin's 'catsone' shortcode. Consequently, any page containing an injected shortcode will execute the attacker's web scripts whenever a user accesses it.
