Summary

CVE-2024-13564 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Rife Elementor Extensions & Templates plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to 1.2.5, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts. The vulnerability arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the plugin's Writing Effect Headline shortcode. As a result, malicious scripts are stored and executed whenever a user accesses an injected page.
