Summary

CVE-2024-13561 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Target Video Easy Publish plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 3.8.3, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts. The vulnerability arises due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the plugin's brid_override_yt shortcode. Consequently, when a user accesses an injected page, the malicious script executes, posing a significant security risk.
