Summary
CVE-2024-13465 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the aBlocks – WordPress Gutenberg Blocks plugin. This issue, which impacts versions up to and including 1.6.1, allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts. Specifically, the vulnerability exists in the "Table Of Content" Block's "markerView" attribute, where insufficient input sanitization and output escaping have been implemented. As a result, attackers can manipulate this attribute, leading to the execution of malicious scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page.
