Summary
CVE-2024-13459 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the FuseDesk plugin for WordPress. In versions up to 6.6.1, user-supplied attributes in the 'fusedesk_newcase' shortcode are not properly sanitized or escaped, allowing authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject malicious code. This vulnerability can result in the execution of arbitrary web scripts whenever a user accesses an infected page. Successful exploitation can lead to various attacks, including data theft, session hijacking, or unauthorized access.
