Summary
CVE-2024-13407 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting the Omnipress plugin for WordPress. This issue allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to extract data from password protected, private, or draft posts. The vulnerability is rooted in insufficient restrictions on which posts can be included in the megamenu block, making it possible for unauthorized users to access information they should not have access to. This issue poses a significant risk for websites using the Omnipress plugin, especially those with sensitive content. Upgrading to the latest version of the plugin is strongly recommended to mitigate this vulnerability.
