Summary

CVE-2024-13405 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Apptivo Business Site CRM plugin for WordPress. The flaw, present in all versions up to 5.3, stems from insufficient or absent nonce validation on the 'awp_ip_deny' page. This issue enables unauthenticated attackers to issue forged requests, leading them to block IP addresses on a targeted WordPress site. The administrator must be tricked into performing a predetermined action, such as clicking a malicious link, for the attack to be successful.
